Why do we dig our heels in?
Why are we afraid of change?
Discovering that I've dug my heels in emotionally, is well, irritating. On the positive side of things, once the discovery is made, change can occur.
We all have our customized emotional tool boxes. 'Attitude Adjustments' are hiding inside. They're much more fun to pull out and use before being provoked.
This 'ol dog has started the process of "un-digging" his heels. He's inspired me to continue opening my tool box. After all, we'll never be done tuning ourselves up anyway, so might as well maintain.
Can you tell I just got my car back from the repair shop?
