Day 5 of Project 365 - Once in a Blue Moon

A Blue Moon shone on New Year's Eve - an incredibly gorgeous sky full of bright stars and puffy clouds.  A "blue moon" is the second full moon in a month.

Blue moons occur about once every two and a half years.  But a New Year's Eve blue moon is more remarkable. The last blue moon that occurred on a New Year's Eve was two decades ago, in 1990.
