When I was a kid, I played the piano, sung, painted, drew and wrote stories constantly. That was all thanks to growing up within a musical, creative family. As I've gotten older, different creative outlets have gotten stronger (food, travel and of course, photography). I paint a lot less lately, but still get a fix from it. Actually, I'm really into pastels lately. More on that later...
This is a watercolor I did in 2002. It sat hidden away for years. I recently covered a canvas with fabric and then glued my watercolor on to top of that. I bought the fabric in Hong Kong in the 90's thinking I'd make a scarf or something. The fact that the fabric wasn't cut large enough for a scarf and I don't sew never entered my mind. Maybe I'll make a collage out of it and add more? Or leave it alone?
Whatcha think?
