I grew up going to this Bob's Big Boy in Burbank. So did my Mom. It's now an historical landmark. My Mom grew up in Hollywood when they had streetcars. Still ticks me off that the car companies killed public transportation by paving over the streetcar tracks many moons ago. LA with public transport? It did exist at one time! But, I digress. My Mom was tickled pink, actually, orange when she ordered "off the menu", I'd like the Cherry Orange soda, please. This bright, sweet refreshment from the 1950's is still available today (see below). I love my Mom. :-)
