148/365- The Healing Peony

The peony is named after Paeon, a student of Asclepius, the Greek god of medicine and healing. These peonies have been a joy to watch over the last week. They've been changing each day, little by little. Bright pink, tight and closed at first. Slowly opening to reveal the delicate stamen and a light fragrance. Some have faded to white and now look like paper flowers. Truly healing in their beauty.
