224/365 - Haunting memory

Have you heard of the book, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo? I haven't read it, but I rented the movie this weekend. The book (part of a trilogy) was written by the late crime novelist, Stieg Larsson. Certain scenes from this twisted, violent thriller are haunting me. I want to learn more about the main character, Lisbeth Salandar, a troubled but brilliant, punk hacker/investigator. I guess I'll need to read 'The Girl Who Played with Fire' as well as the final in the trilogy, 'The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest'. In the meantime, guess what? Hollywood is planning to remake it. I guess some things never change?

Today's picture is of a blue vase of tuberose flowers, blurred by motion. They have an Incredibly strong, lasting fragrance. Kind of the way this story has lasted in my mind.
