My friends and I went to Darya, a Persian cuisine restaurant in West LA. The food was so-so at best. The entertainment was so bad it was great. Just imagine a guy wearing a seriously bad toupee, playing an electric keyboard under blue lighting, and singing (with a whiney weak whisper of a voice) a medley including "Just the way you are" by Billy Joel and "Do that to me one more time" by Captain & Tenille. Suffice it to say, the nicest thing in the restaurant was this chandelier.
