On September 8, I went to three amazing places: Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath (the latter two are both World Heritage Sites). That's covering a decent amount of territory in one day, but it was worth it, thanks to a great tour guide full of interesting facts and amusing stories.
This is one of my fav shots of Stonehenge. It truly did feel a bit mystical, even considering the number of people walking around the stones. The true meaning of this ancient creation is a mystery. Everything from a temple for sun worship, a healing center to a burial site or a huge calendar has been considered. Fascinating....
